Near a small town in Japan is an area with unusual topographical features. A narrow stream flows between two hills. As it happens, one of these hills is largely composed of a mineral called magnetite. The other hill contains calcium compounds. The stream between them courses over a bed of silicates, the material that forms natural crystal. And here, Japanese scientists discovered that the water from this stream had amazing results on the surrounding plants.
What they saw astounded them. They named this substance pi water. Then they set out to duplicate these natural conditions in the laboratory. There are many water treatment systems on the market today. And all of these promise more or less the same thing: to remove sediment, minerals and possible harmful ingredients from your drinking water. Everybody ought to drink clean water in order to sustain health and life, but the condition of our tap water and the disadvantages of bottled water leave a great deal to be desired. Filtered water is the only way to have truly clean and healthy water, water that sustains you, hydrates you, and protects you from some of the most chronic illnesses.
The World Deserves Clean, Good Water—and So Does Your Family
The question is: do you have what you deserve?
Both your drinking (and cooking) water and your shower water need to be filtered. Here are the top 10 reasons why a good water filter is essential to your health and even your energy level.
One more thing before we start; having any filter is better than having none. Yet, not all filters are created equal, a topic which we’ll address in a future article.
1. You are at least 78% water and you depend on water for all life processes.
2. In the United States, tap water increasingly has been the underlying cause of a variety of illnesses due to contamination, chemicals added to the water, and old water pipes.
3. More than 2100 known drinking water contaminants (in tap water) exist, including chlorine and even chloramine.
